A new chapter begins at Rua Hills
Construction of Te Pae Primary School at Rua Hills is now complete, marking an exciting milestone for the growing NorthWest Auckland community.
Located within Raphoe Village at Rua Hills, the school forms an important part of the community’s masterplan, bringing education,
homes, green spaces and neighbourhood amenities together in one connected environment.
With the construction phase now complete, attention turns to preparing the school for its first students.
A school designed for a growing community
Te Pae School will provide a full primary and intermediate pathway for students from Years 1–8, giving growing families in Rua Hills and the surrounding area access to a modern school right within their community.
The new school has been built to initially accommodate around 250 students, with the campus and infrastructure designed to grow alongside the surrounding community.
The school features modern learning spaces, dedicated breakout areas, technology rooms, a gymnasium, library, main hall and outdoor playing areas.

More recreation and play spaces
Alongside the school's core learning facilities, planning is continuing for additional play and recreation areas across the campus.
These spaces will provide opportunities for students to be active, play and connect with one another, complementing the school's learning environments and outdoor spaces.
As Rua Hills continues to grow, Te Pae School will become an important part of the neighbourhood and an integral part of the community.
Enrolling now for 2027
With Term 1 2027 getting closer, Te Pae School is continuing to connect with families in the local area and prepare for its first students.
Families interested in Te Pae School can find more information about enrolments, the school zone and the upcoming 2027 opening through the school's website.
