Construction Update

Development activity is gaining momentum at Rua Hills with the signalised intersection at Fred Taylor Drive now complete, providing road access to the new Te Pae Primary School scheduled to open in January 2027.

Rua Hills - Construction Update

The development at Rua Hills is gathering momentum. Having completed the signalised intersection at Fred Taylor Drive and 1,650m of spine roads required to access the new Te Pae Primary School (opening Term 1 - 2027), we are now continuing to progress site wide amenity, civil, and landscaping works associated with the first stage of residential lots.

Completed Features & Environmental Enhancements

Rua Hills entrance features have been installed, and our contractors have constructed a village square, the first weathered steel pedestrian bridge and two vehicular bridges. Significant sections of the stream network and wetlands have also been rehabilitated alongside the provision of shared paths for walking and cycling.

Stage 1 Delivery & Civil Works

All resources are now being allocated to deliver Stage 1 (171 – vacant lots) with bulk earthworks on-going. Roads are being metalled in readiness for kerbing and stormwater & wastewater lines being installed.

Upcoming Works & Infrastructure

Other works which will start in the coming weeks include further stream corridor landscaping & restoration, exposed concrete paths, four new pedestrian bridges, utility services (water, power & fibre), and detailed design for the Stage 1 playground.

Stage 1 Titles

The new Titles are expected in early 2027. Please feel free to stay in touch as we continue to keep the Rua Hills community updated as further information becomes available.
